Life Lessons from Frozen

Life Lessons from Frozen

August 13, 2019

1. A bond between sisters is unlike any other, it overcomes every obstacle (even if that obstacle is causing an eternal winter)

Siblings are a blessing in disguise, and they will experience all the phases of your life alongside you. They get dragged down by your failures and elevated sky-high by your triumphs. Your sister is your partner in crime, your most ruthless critic and your biggest fan. In spite of all the bickering and arguing, at the end of the day she will be there for you even when you’re not there for yourself.

2. Some people are worth melting for

Who can deny the beautiful wisdom departed by the adorable Olaf? There truly can’t be a more suited motto for any friendship. Take a moment to look around you and choose which people in your life are worth melting for, and then be ready to melt for them. And know that they’ll be ready to melt for you too!

3. Embrace your dreams, no matter how unlikely they seem

Little Olaf’s dream of experiencing summer sounds impossible, but that doesn’t stop him from dreaming of sunshine. At the end of the day, Elsa helps him achieve the dream by giving him his own flurry so he can chill at the beach without turning himself into a puddle of water. So dream on and march towards it relentlessly because truly, nothing is impossible.

4. Be yourself and don’t ever apologize for it

People are often scared of the unknown and because of that, being different can make you feel like you don’t belong. Any time you’re tempted to think that way, just look at Elsa: the magic she was determined to conceal was beautiful and powerful all along. What makes you different is often the same thing that makes you unstoppably powerful, unique, and amazing.

5. Let It Go

Seriously, Let. It. Go. Things, people, situations that weigh you down are not worth your time and energy. Surround yourself with positive energy and people that are rooting for you and be brave enough to say no to the things and people that are not helping you advance. Life if short so make every moment a happy one.

6. Love is the most powerful magic of all

Anna and Elsa saved each other’s lives with unconditional love. They saw someone they loved in danger, and they reacted with love. Frozen leaves us with the final message that even though this is a movie about a girl gifted with ice powers, the real magic is the power of love between two sisters!
